Comfort and privacy of private rooms
Making our residents as comfortable as possible in their private space at Walton Heath Manor is an important part of them feeling safe and secure. Comfort, privacy and respect are fundamental to the service and support we provide.
Walton Heath Manor is a character property. The rooms vary in terms of size and location. Every bedroom is furnished and decorated to a high standard, with either a full en-suite bathroom or en-suite WC and washbasin.
We always remember that our care home is, first and foremost, home to our residents. They are welcome to introduce their own furnishings and lay out their room in a way they wish and that makes them feel comfortable and at home.
Most ground floor rooms and a number on the first floor, have private terraces or balconies and all rooms are designed to take advantage of our setting in beautiful landscaped gardens.
All bedrooms are fully equipped with a television, a carer call system, a telephone point, Broadband Wi-Fi and individual, thermostatically controlled central heating.
Beautiful Gardens
Walton Heath Manor benefits from a beautiful setting with large and landscaped gardens for our residents to enjoy throughout the seasons. The care home also has a large heated greenhouse and a vegetable garden with raised beds, the use of which is supported by our own gardener.
Our Kitchen, dining and nutrition
Fresh home-cooked food, prepared daily on-site in our kitchens by our own qualified chefs, brings not only warmth and activity to the home but healthy, nutritious and varied dishes to our residents across the day. There is always a choice available, with special diets and smaller appetites catered for.
Residents are welcome to enjoy meals in the comfort of Walton Heath Manor’s dining room or in their own private space. On fine days the dining and garden rooms are opened up to the York stone terrace that runs the width of the garden.
Residents are welcome to invite guests for lunch by prior arrangement, with their meals served in either the activities centre or the main lounge, this is a service we offer at no charge.
